Golden Clouds 2

I walk on clouds of fiery red,
My earthy skin I choose to shed.
Leaving behind that world of pain,
My happiness I now regain.

I walk on clouds of peachy pink:
No more decisions to rethink.
When I’m up there, I’m yet again
Free from the once limiting chains.

I walk on clouds of golden rays,
Day after day being content.
I’ve met with magic and delight
And let go of the growing night.

I walk on clouds of darkened grey,
On silver linings which portray
The growing hope I feel inside
When I’m up there, walking on clouds…

I walk on clouds of peaceful white,
Loving the freedom and the light.
I walk and smile and I dream,
Bathing in warm and pure sunbeams.

Skies of Hope

Rays of burning gold descend:
One more day comes to an end.
Warming amber paints the sky
And the clouds are beautified.

Magic trails are left behind,
Seemingly endless and white,
As the airplanes fade away;
A new border: night and day.

Forests turn to fiery black,
As the light turns into dark,
As the valleys—once alive—
Become still and renounce light.

Golden daylight disappears
Behind distant, empty hills;
Fireflies now take its place
And the veil of darkness face.

Rays of burning gold descend:
One more day comes to an end.
Warming amber paints the sky
As I hear the lullaby.

Sacred whispers touch my ears
And I stop in place to hear.
Soothing song surrounds my soul
And embraces me as whole.

Canvas in the Night

The night sky once again awaits
To be a canvas of the soul;
A world of dreams it will portray,
As all the stars I now control. ǀ Fine

I take a breath and paint the moon,
A regal vision—only her;
A smile now waltzes on my lips:
The queen will reign from dusk till dawn.

I take the paintbrush yet again
And paint a dance of falling stars;
They travel to the ends of Earth;
Although new-born, they travel far.

I paint a sea of gleaming gold
And watch the waves send warming light
Towards the world I hold so dear,
That’s never been so still and bright.

And, star by star, my universe
Turns into galaxies of dreams.
I paint and paint—the canvas full,
Awakening forgotten tears.

I paint until the morning sun
Sends rays of daylight from afar.
My painting fades, I close my eyes;
I will return and cover scars.

Once Upon a Sky

Now this is the story of beings of wonder,
Of daughters of magic, of sons of the light.
The story of children who learned to grow fond of
True life and true laughter, which now they unite.

One night, when the shadows began to grow larger,
When valses of anger they started to dance,
The moon saw the evil which wanted to gather
And down sent her children to make a brave stand.

On bright rays of magic descended the daughters,
On bright veils of moonlight descended the sons,
Together defying the black vengeance waters
The evil had summoned, which covered the ground.

A battle of seconds, of light and of darkness,
A battle unheard of, of life and of death.
In silence, the children defeated the blackness
And only the moonlight—sweet, tender—was left.

On magic ascended the children of stardust,
As stars once more welcomed the beings of truth.
The sky once again was a welcoming canvas,
A story of wonder, of hope—unsubdued.

Up There

I step out in the winter cold,
As sunset skies above unfold.
I freeze in place, just mesmerized,
While dreams and truth are unified.

I wish to touch the silver lines,
To kiss the clouds a thousand times,
Their peachy pink, their passing grey,
To rise above and fly away.

I’ve dreamt of worlds where I am free,
Where wishes find reality,
Where I can fly all by myself,
Forgetting people, time or death.

A sky like this, a different world,
Timeless and never knowing mold,
Where I can be and simply love
An endless sky, forever born.

And I stand still, a silhouette
Of thoughts and dreams and no regrets.
My mind is free, I touch the sky,
Horizon, light all unify.

My frozen feet still touch the ground,
But I’m up there, among the clouds;
A dreamy state, my paradise,
Surreal bliss in gleaming eyes.
