Posterity

Painting with vibrant spirit and delight,
Oasis is the ever-living art.
Surreal moments, music, writing, dreams:
The legacy of those who’ve been redeemed.
Even if time won’t spare their mortal souls,
Regardless of what they’ve achieved on Earth,
Infinity awaits creators of this world:
Through masterpieces they will all live on,
Yesterday: here, tomorrow: never gone.

Ephemerality

Eager to leave a trace behind on Earth,
Pharaohs and emperors, conquests, battles and wars.
Humans all try to leave their mark within this world:
Enticing paintings, stories to be told.
Music which purifies the burdened souls,
Ending the pain of being only mould.
Ruins of ancient works which fade away,
All memories of once glorious days,
Long gone and never to be seen again,
In passing winds becoming only clay.
They come and go—only a passing breath,
Yesterday: here, tomorrow: certain death.

Da Capo al Poetry

Dim lights, pencil and a paper
And the music which completes me.

Calling unto words of amber,
Aching for a touch of sacred,
Painting feelings—notes and poems
Of another world—forever.

All I am, two joys colliding:
Love for poetry and music.

Painting tremor, vibrant spirit,
Oasis is the written canvas;
Echoing through my whole being,
Tender notes are born, igniting
Realigned suns—constellations.
Yes, I yearn for words and music.

I went back to the beginning,
I have found myself again.

Dandelion Field

Dandelions paint the field,
All a sweet, translucent white.
Now they are a graceful shield,
Dreams protecting from decay.
Entering a sacred world,
Little like them I become,
In the wind my breath I hold,
On a fluff flying away,
Now with flowers I am one.

Freedom comes to me at last,
In my flight on gentle white,
Ending fears of future, past,
Liberty knowing up there,
Dandelions fly away.

Even If I Die

Engulfed in thoughts which touch the sky,
Voices around me I defy,
Erasing doubts and seeking light,
Now world and infinite unite.
I’m anchored and I won’t let go,
Forever truth, forever whole.
In life and death bliss I’ll have known.
Despair and fear are left behind,
Inside meaning and worlds collide,
Ending an era—breathing twice.

Stargazing

Surreal peace comes from within,
The night grows darker like a dream,
And stars begin to light the sky
Reaching my mind, my heart, my sight;
Growing amidst the wind, the storm,
All daring wishes are reborn;
Zealous to reach the stars, they shine
In new-born thoughts they are defined.
Nothing can stop their quick ascent;
Gaze after gaze, I’m now content.
